Chapter 3: Follow-up studies in chronological order

Fogh-Andersen, 1969
University Clinic (Rigshospitalet), Copenhagen, and Diakonissestiftelsens Hospital, Copenhagen, Denmark

This publication is cited from time to time by other authors as follow-up study, probably because in the abstract that generally is included in literature data bases it says that it reports about "clinical material" on 11 operated MFTs and three operated FMTs, In reality is is not a follow-up study, but a report of the former assistant of the plastic surgeon Dahl-Iversen, who talks about his experience during the operation of Christine Jorgensen in Copenhagen in 1952 and announces that he intends to publish, together with Hamburger and Stürup, a follow-up study about the 14 previously mentioned patients. We could not find a corresponding publication. This is why we do not consider this publication, even if it is given as a source in other follow-up studies.
